Breaking Through the AI Surge! Our Company Wins the Highest Honor “Semi-Grand Prize” at KIWIE 2026
The 19th Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition (KIWIE 2026) concluded with great success at the COEX Exhibition Center in Seoul. Our company’s patented technology, “Industrial-Grade Airtight & Durable Biodegradable PP Platform: An Innovative Cost-Effective Single-Mold Application for [C]ycle Markers,” stood out among nearly 600 competing inventions from 21 countries, winning the top-tier Semi-Grand Prize (one of only three awarded globally in the overseas category).
Engineering Breakthrough: Single-Mold Platform Saves Over USD 100,000 in Tooling Costs. Amidst global attention heavily focused on AI algorithms and semiconductor technologies, our team brought the spotlight back to precision physical manufacturing and sustainable design. We addressed the steep tooling expense that often hinders stationery and plastic manufacturers from transitioning toward ESG sustainability.
Traditionally, switching between different plastic resins required re-evaluating material shrinkage and fabricating dedicated tooling. Through advanced engineering breakthroughs, our technology achieves a Single-Mold Platform—enabling a single mold set to produce components across Virgin PP, Recycled PP, and Biodegradable PP. This breakthrough saves over USD 100,000 in mold development costs, dramatically reducing the financial barrier for brands adopting sustainable materials. Furthermore, the technology resolves the brittleness and poor gas-barrier performance typical of biodegradable polymers, achieving industrial-grade airtight sealing for high commercial viability.
Gaining High Attention from KIPO Leadership & Showcasing Taiwan’s Green Capacity. During the exhibition, our representatives had the honor of delivering a technology presentation in English directly to the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the President of the Korea Women Inventors Association (KWIA), receiving high praise from international judges.
“Winning the Semi-Grand Prize proves that even in an AI-driven era, solid manufacturing craftsmanship, robust patent positioning, and cost-effective ESG design remain indispensable core values in the global market,” stated our company spokesperson. “Moving forward, we will continue to advance the practical application of circular economy technologies, providing our global partners with highly competitive, green manufacturing solutions.”
